Greetings from San Diego!
On Wednesday, November 7th a regional alumni event was held for Titans living and working in the San Diego area. Over 70 alumni and guests attended the reception at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club in San Diego.

It was exciting to have such a diverse group of alumni gather together to reminisce on their days spent at their alma mater. There were alumni who attended Cal State Fullerton in the very early days of its history, alumni from the class of 2007 and alumni from every decade in between.

By profession they were teachers, engineers, real estate agents, media specialists, accountants, reporters, writers, business development managers and alumni who were enjoying retirement -- but they were all proud Titan alumni.

Everyone enjoyed hearing from Pam Hillman, VP of University Advancement, about the latest news on campus as well as updates on the special 50th Anniversary that CSUF is celebrating this year. The alumni are planning to charter a San Diego Area Alumni Chapter so they can expand on and grow the connections made at the event. They already generated many new memberships in the Alumni Association to build their founding membership base and are well on their way to official chartering.

CSUF Alumni Association will be visiting several cities in the upcoming months. They will be in Las Vegas on Dec. 3, Washington D.C. on Dec. 4-6, and Sacramento on April 28, 2008. Dates for other cities will be announced soon. Visit the CSUF Alumni Association website for more information.
