E. Michael Madrid serves as the educational director and associate professor for the Chapman University School of Education. He arrived at Chapman with 30 years of experience as an educator. He was a teacher, principal and assistant superintendent and interim superintendent for the Little Lake City School District in Santa Fe Springs. He received his bachelor’s degree in English from UC Irvine and his Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University. He has written journal articles about school administration, bilingual education, desegregation cases and the needs of students.
