Daniel B. Mendoza, is a practicing dentist in Redwood City, where he lives with his wife, Josephine, and their four daughters. He opened his dental clinic 24 years ago, just after obtaining his doctor of dental surgery degree from UC San Francisco. He also has been a part-time clinical professor at UC San Francisco for the past 24 years. In 1989, Cal State Fullerton awarded him its Alumnus of the Year award. A Saint Pius School Board member for the past five years, his volunteer work includes donating his dental services at local schools to underprivileged children.
