Sharon Quirk
Teaching Credential, 1987
Fullerton Mayor Sharon Quirk was elected to the City Council in 2004. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from UCLA in 1985 and completed the teaching credential program at Cal State Fullerton. She and her nine siblings attended Richman Elementary School in Fullerton, where she presently works as a teacher. Fullerton’s representative to the Southern California Association of Governments, the Orange County Council of Governments and Orange County Vector Control, she was named Woman of the Year by Sen. Lou Correa. She is a member of a number of charitable and civic organizations, including the Friends of the Fullerton Arboretum.

La Alcaldesa de Fullerton, Sharon Quirk fue elegida consúl de la ciudad en el 2004. Completó su Bachillerato en Sociología de UCLA en 1985 y terminó su Credencial de Maestro en Cal State Fullerton. Ella y sus nueve hermanos asistieron a Richman Elementary School en Fullerton donde actualmente trabaja como maestra. Fue nombrada “Woman of the Year” por el Senador Lou Correa.
