College of the ArtsEnjoy performances by student, faculty and guest artists in the music, dance, and theatre performance venues and rehearsal studios. Visit the art galleries, studios, and enjoy displays featuring the work of current students and visiting artists. College of Business and EconomicsThe College will showcase its centers of excellence and student clubs. Visit student clubs' displays and minireunions with alumni. College of CommunicationsJoin us for open house festivities that promise to be fun and informative! We invite you back to reminisce, experience our new location in College Park, and get a glimpse of the talented students in communications, radio-TV-film, speech communication and communicative disorders. College of EducationThe College of Education faculty, staff and student leaders will host community guests at College information tables. Bring children of all ages to join us for creative arts lessons and demonstrations. College of Engineering and Computer ScienceGather in the College of Engineering and Computer Science Quad for student project demonstrations and view exhibits of the "technology evolution." Tour earthquake, robotic and computer labs. College of Health and Human DevelopmentOpen house activities include: displays showcasing Counseling and Nursing faculty and programs, tours of the new state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Lab facility and the Human Services' "Student Hall of Fame." Attend a "Meet and Greet" hosted by Child and Adolescent Studies, and visit Health Science and Kinesiology classrooms and labs. College of Humanities and Social ScienceThe College will have a special 50th Anniversary exhibit in McCarthy Hall at the Anthropology Teaching Museum and will host a reception for Open House attendees. Each department will host an open house in the Humanities Building and University Hall. College of Natural Sciences and MathematicsVisit laboratory and classroom demonstrations, conduct
experiments and analyze the results. The Department of
Mathematics will offer workshops featuring the wonders
of mathematics. CAMPUS DISPLAYS AND EXHIBITSUniversity Extended EducationStaff and exhibits will provide information on programs including: certificate programs, classes for professionals and educators, American Language Program, University Semester Abroad, Intersession, evening master's degrees, online certificates and classes, International Programs, Summer Art Camp, and classes for children and teens. Osher Lifelong Learning Institute(OLLI) offers retirees and seniors a unique opportunity to participate in classes, workshops, trips and other activities directed and planned by other retirees and seniors. During the Open House, OLLI will offer free "mini-workshops" on a wide variety of fascinating topics. Alumni AssociationThe Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association will engage visiting alumni through Homecoming booths organized by decade. Graduates can gather with fellow alumni and receive a special 50th Anniversary commemorative item. Pollak Library Scavenger HuntHow well do you remember your college library? Are you a first-time visitor? Join us for our 50th Anniversary Library Scavenger Hunt Open House and win special prizes! Fullerton ArboretumEnjoy a stroll through the Fullerton Arboretum's 26 acres of beautiful gardens during the weekend. A must-see is the new Fullerton Arboretum Visitor Center and Orange County Agricultural and Nikkei Heritage Museum, the campuses first "green" building. Titan AthleticsTitan Athletics will host a spirit table in the Quad with special give-aways. Plan to visit Titan House and meet Athletics' coaches and staff members. Titan Student UnionBring the kids and enjoy bowling, billiards, table games, karaoke and more! Enjoy great live entertainment, explore the facilities, or simply relax with friends and family over a cup of fresh Starbuck's coffee.
