Who can attend the conference?
The conference is open to all college students for a nominal fee (see below). All leadership levels welcome. No prior leadership experience is necessary.

What does the conference fee cover?
The conference fee covers registration, materials, and continental breakfast and lunch.
Are refunds available?
Sorry, refunds are not available. Please plan your schedule accordingly to accommodate the Conference.
How do I register for the conference?

Preparing for the Conference
How should I prepare for the conference?
Thoroughly read your registration packet and choose your workshops ahead of time. For our guests visiting from other campuses, we have provided you with directions to CSUF and a list of hotels nearby.
What should I bring?
We will provide you with a folder with all the materials for the day. You may bring a pencil or pen, paper to take notes, and snacks to munch on. You may also bring business cards or your club or organization’s event flyers and other marketing materials to share with others at the Conference. Come with an open attitude to make the most out of your experience!
What should I wear?
Conference attire is casual. Wearing comfortable shoes and collegiate attire with the name of your club or organization is highly encouraged.
How do I get to Cal State Fullerton?
For directions to the CSUF campus, please go to Parking and Directions.
What hotels are nearby?
We encourage our guests visiting from other campuses to enjoy a few days in beautiful Orange County. For a list of hotels near CSUF, please go to Hotels.
What time is the conference?
Check-in/Registration begins at 8:00 A.M and the conference will end at 5:00 P.M. For a more detailed schedule of activities, go to Schedule of Activities.
Where is it held?
The conference will be held in the Titan Student Union. Check-in/Registration is located in the Atrium outside the Pavilion. Click here for a map of the Titan Student Union.
Where’s the best place to park?
The most convenient parking for the Conference is located in the State College Parking Structure accessible from State College Blvd. and Dorothy Lane. There will be directional signs around campus to guide you to the parking structure. For more information, please go to Parking and Directions. Please note that parking is free for this event.

How do I select my workshops?
Think about what you want to gain or learn from the conference—developing leadership skills, what type of leader you are, how to lead others, etc. Take a look at the workshop descriptions and choose those workshops that best fit your needs and interests.
What if I’m in a workshop and I realize that the topic doesn’t fit my needs or interest?
We want you to make the most out of your time at the conference, so it is completely acceptable to leave a workshop and attend another. Rank your workshops by choice in order to save time in finding another workshop to attend.

Who participates in the conference?
The majority of our participants are Cal State Fullerton students, but we do welcome students from other universities to attend. Universities that have attended in the past include CSU Long Beach, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU San Bernadino, Mt. SAC, Golden West College, Santa Ana College, Santiago Canyon College, Rio Hondo College, and Orange Coast College.
Our workshop presenters are local community leaders, CSUF faculty, staff, and alumni, and other professionals.
Will there be any networking opportunities?
The conference is in itself a networking opportunity, and you’ll be able to meet students from different universities. Icebreaker activities will help you get acquainted with others and the Get Involved Fair during lunch will allow you to meet and network with local organizations.
Do you have any tips for networking?
The conference brings together a very diverse group of people, so get to know as many individuals as you can. Wear clothing that affiliates you with your school, club, or organization, or bring along business cards or other marketing materials that you would like to share with others.
What is the Leadership Project?

Is there a way to verify my training at the conference?
Every participant who attends the full length of the conference will receive a certificate of completion to verify your training and attendance. Use your conference participation in your resume and share your training with future employers.
