Notes:
- Elective courses must be taken from the respective lists. Advisor's approval will be required if students choose electives from a different area.
- For EGCE 597, 598 and 599, students must submit to the CE department an abstract or objective for the planned project/thesis signed by the advisor.
- Students should also pass the English writing proficiency exam.
- Students need to formulate the study plan in their first semester.
- Students who do not have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering need to complete a few deficiency courses before they can graduate.
*Based on the enrollment trends, the department is currently focusing its graduate program ONLY on Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Construction Engineering and Management.
The Graduate program in Geotechnical/Hydraulics/Engineering Mechanics will be considered in future based on enrollment demand.
