IT Training provides training on advanced topics for iPad to staff, management, and faculty.
NOTE: All iPad classes assume a basic knowledge of how to use the iPad. Each class will utilize specific apps listed in the course description. If you received your iPad from campus IT, you should have all of the paid apps that will be used. Effective Teaching and Presenting Skills with your iPad
- In this session you will learn how to use the iPad to give presentations in meetings, trainings and classes, learn to access and share Images, Videos, Documents, learn to use Whiteboard apps with your iPad, learn to create audio recordings of sessions for participants to listen to and how to use the Adobe Connect application to participate in online meetings and classes.
Accessing and Working with Documents on your iPad
- In the class you will setup and use a Dropbox account for accessing documents on your iPad and see a demonstration of using Documents to Go, Keynote and PDF Expert .
Working with the iPad Note taking Applications
- In this course you will receive an overview of a few different note taking applications on the iPad. Applications that will be demonstrated will be Apple Notes, Noterize, Penultimate, Evernote and Meeting Room.
Using the iPad Communication Tools - Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Skype, Connect, and Facetime
- This class will cover how to work with your campus email, calendar and contacts on the iPad. Topics discussed will be responding to emails, sending new emails, understanding your email setting on the iPad, managing emails, working with your contact manager and managing your calendar from the iPad.
