Irvine Campus Library
As an Irvine Campus student, you have access to research experts who can help you locate quality information for research papers, develop search strategies to navigate subject databases, and professionally cite your research sources.
Library materials in various formats can be requested from the Fullerton Campus, as well as from other libraries worldwide using the Interlibrary Loan Service .
The circulation desk is where library materials, headphones, and dry erase makers may be checked out. Items checked out from the Fullerton Campus can be returned to the Irvine Campus as well.
Course Reserves Services
Course reserves are supplementary materials (e.g. books, DVDs, and other physical items) provided by faculty or the Library in support of course curricula. These materials are for short-term use.
There are hundreds of online subject specific databases that hold millions of full-text scholarly articles in all academic disciplines.
The library has thousands of full-text electronic books covering many disciplines that can be accessed remotely.
The ‘Guides’ tabs found on the library’s website offers research guides covering multiple disciplines. Subject areas include: Business,Health Science, Nursing, Child & Adolescent Studies,Communications, Education, Social Work, and many others.
There are over 1,000 current subscriptions to popular newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals that are accessible in print and electronic formats.
Computers and Applications:
One Mac and twenty-two PC computers are available in the library equipped with various software .
Laptops are available for all day checkout with Titancard.
Group Study Rooms:
The Irvine Campus Library has three small group study rooms available for use on a first-come first-serve basis. No reservations are accepted.
Copiers & Printers:
Printing and copying are available in the library for ten cents per page. Titan Tender is accepted.
