Get the tools and information you need to get started in nonprofit accounting. Learn how to set up a functional accounting system, what revenue is restricted and what isn’t, how to allocate expenses, and how to get meaningful information from your financial management system. What is the difference between nonprofit and for-profit financial reporting? Is a particular contribution reported as income now, or later? How do I allocate my expenses? What reports do I need to prepare, and how do I read them once they are done? Plenty of time for Q&A, so bring your questions for the group.
