Portal Messaging: Sending Messages
Messaging is one of the features of your Faculty Portal. With it, you can send messages to entire classes, or to groups or individual students. This is not e-mail. Rather, the message you send will appear on the the portal home page of the student or students to whom you sent it. If you plan to use this feature, alert your students to the fact so they will be watching for posts from you. When you post a message to a student portal page, it will appear immediately.
Here are the steps to use the messaging feature:
1. After logging in to your portal, choose the "Classes" tab. (If this tab is not visible, click on the "Profile" tab at the right and make the necessary adjustments.)
