The Cal State Fullerton Institute of Gerontology advances successful aging practices through education, research and community service. Under the direction of Dr. Pauline Abbott, the Institute disseminates information pertaining to gerontology, generates multi- and interdisciplinary research and projects, and promotes successful aging within the broad parameters of wellness of mind and body. And, in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., the Institute of Gerontology is a forceful advocate of public policies related to aging.
