CSUF’s official mobile app is getting an overhaul.  Titan Tech Talk sat down with David Sullivan, IT Programmer, to get the lowdown on iFullerton.

The app will now feature a Portal Message section that will display important messages from the campus at the top of the app.  The idea is to make it more dynamic and the "go to" place for users to get the latest campus news.

Dave Sullivan is giving it an "iOS7 design style", making it a much cleaner look and feel

Users will be able to customize what icons they see on screen by adding or removing them.  Icons can also be arranged in an order that suits the users’ needs.  The top four icons will be default and the only ones that are not customizable by the user.

When users log in to the app for the first time, it will recognize the user as a student, faculty, or staff and automatically enable pertinent features.  For example, students will have access to student related services, adding a more streamlined functionality to the app.

The iFullerton App will be available sometime this fall.
