Barbara
Mcdowell, Director
Barbara McDowell, M.S., has been director of the Women's Center/Adult
Reentry Center since 1989. She is dedicated to providing education
for women on relationships, personal and professional growth and
boundaries. She has expertise in the areas of: sexual assault, sexual
harassment, gender issues in counseling and gender socialization
issues. She is also dedicated to supporting the reentry student's
transition into the university and to celebrating the strengths
the reentry student brings to the campus. bmcdowell@fullerton.edu
Sue
Passalacqua, Associate Director
Sue Passalacqua, M.S., has been the Associate Director of the Women's
Center/Adult Reentry Center since 1998. Sue develops and implements
the center's workshops and seminar series and has created a comprehensive
internship program for students interested in exploring gender and
cultural issues. She is committed to providing education, support
and counseling for women in transition, relationship issues and
personal growth and development. Sue has presented in the areas
of: assertive communication, stress management and the Imposter
Phenomenon as well as facilitated support groups on relationships

Jerri
Freeman, Office Manager, Special Events Coordinator
Jerri Freeman is the Women's Center Special Events and Office Coordinator.
Besides overseeing the general operations of the Center, Jerri also
coordinates many special programs and events the Women's Center
offers throughout the year. As a retired Deputy Sheriff, she brings
to the Center a rich background of working with people from diverse
populations. Since leaving the law enforcement arena, she has worked
with survivors of Domestic Violence and has extensive experience
working with women in crisis. Her varied personal and professional
experience adds a unique perspective on today's women's issues.

Rosalina
Camacho, Coordinator of the Women's Cultural ResourceCenters
Rosalina Camacho, B.S., has been the Coordinator of the Women's Cultural ResourceCenters and the Men’s Center since 2001. Rosalina
has expanded the programs and services offered to the students interested
in exploring cultural issues as it relates to their personal, professional,
and academic life. She is an expert in the area of domestic violence
with a focus on teen dating. Rosalina also serves her community
by participating on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of North
Orange County, an organization that identifies and creates opportunities
for all women, children and their families to empower and enrich

Susan
Leavy, MFT Campus Crime Prevention Educator
Susan Leavy M.S., has been the Campus Crime Prevention Educator
since April 2003. She is responsible for the delivery of sexual
assault prevention education to students, staff and faculty. She
has recently created the Gender Alliance Certificate Program, and
has implemented the Gender Alliance Workshop for the student body.
She is a member of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Committee.
Her expertise is in sexual violence, domestic violence and young

Catherine
VanRiette, Adult Reentry Coordinator Catherine
VanRiette, M.S., has previously worked with the Adult Reentry program
on special projects in Spring, 2003. She offers individual pre-admission
advisement and support counseling to prospective and current Adult
Reentry students. Catherine, a graduate of the CSUF Master of Science
program in Psychology, is also a part-time faculty member in the
Psychology Department as well a registered Marriage and Family Therapist
intern practicing in the community. Additionally, Catherine is familiar
with CalWorks issues and assisting students in following the guidelines
