The Academic Advisement Center, in partnership with the Office of University Outreach, has hosted an annual conference for California State University, Fullerton community college partners; Counselors Collaborating for Student Success, since Spring 2005. In an effort to create the most effective conferences, surveys were sent to over 40 local community college counselors and transfer center directors. The surveys allow each conference to be uniquely designed to meet the current needs of our community college partners. Each year 100% of the respondents would like the conference to be offered annually. The conference content and the resources avialble to you on this website have been created based on yearly assessments and evaluations to reflect the changing needs of the community college population.
It is our hope to create a more seamless transition to CSUF and consequently decrease time to degree for our transfer students, as well as forge close relationships with the institutions from which our students transfer. We hope to continue our efforts to support our CSUF transfer students through continued collaboration with our community college partners.
