To Our Valued Students:
We are acutely aware of the challenges you are facing in filling your Fall 2009 class schedules. We understand the tremendous effort you’ve made to learn and grow through the courses you have taken and plan to take here at California State University, Fullerton. And, while the ideal solution to courses dropped from the Fall roster would be that those courses be restored, reality dictates that we partner with you to find other positive, proactive resolutions.
Staff of Academic Advisement are here and have resources to help you design a new plan of action to move you forward toward your degree. We are joined by advisors across campus in this effort.
Please consider these tips:
When you meet with our advisors, ask them about:
- Intersession
- Summer classes
- Study Abroad
- Independent Study
- Internships
- Open General Education Courses
- Taking courses at the Community College
Also remember that advisors in your Major can help you maximize your efforts even with reduced course availability. While it may not seem so right this moment, there is often a larger satisfaction when you overcome an unexpected roadblock to reach your goals. We look forward to helping you achieve your ultimate goal of receiving your Cal State Fullerton college degree.
Sincerely,
Dr. Bridget E. Driscoll
