Mission

Project Reclaim serves as one of the primary vehicles for California State University, Fullerton in increasing the identification, recruitment, access and eventual academic retention and success of African American males.

The intent of this program is to also develop an educational culture in the schools and communties of the region which serve African American males, which fosters attainment of higher education as a critical requirement for the success of these individuals.

Services

  • Preparation for University Admissions

  • Financial Aid Counseling

  • Evaluation of Academic Preparation

  • Expand career opportunities by interacting with other African American CSUF Faculty, Staff and Students who serve as their mentors

  • Community leaders provide additional enrichment by sharing their professions with both mentees and mentors

  • Create a "safety net" for participants who are often alientated from others and lack adequate support networks to encourage high aspirations.
