    Students majoring in science and math may find that their major classes are challenging. This site provides students with a list of the tutoring centers on campus that provide additional support with class assignments and homework.

    The College Tutoring Center is operated by the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics. Their mission is to assist business students to become more successful at the university by offering tutoring assistance in  various business subjects in a friendly and supportive learning environment.

    The goal of the University Learning Center (ULC) is to provide all CSUF students with academic support in an inviting and contemporary environment. Academic tutors provide this support in both individual and group sessions. The ULC works with all students from diverse backgrounds in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) areas as well as others.

    This is a description of the University English Writing Proficiency exam that is a graduation requirement for every CSUF undergraduate.

    This link provides a description of the English Placement Test used systemwide to determine where each student is placed in the sequence of college writing classes.  At CSUF, students are placed into Developmental Writing, Analytic College Writing, or Introduction to College Writing.
