The goal of the University Learning Center (ULC) is to provide all CSUF students with academic support in an inviting and contemporary environment. Academic tutors provide this support in both individual and group sessions. This is a description of the University English Writing Proficiency exam that is a graduation requirement for every CSUF undergraduate.

This link provides a description of the English Placement Test used systemwide to determine where each student is placed in the sequence of college writing classes. At CSUF, students are placed into Developmental Writing, Analytic College Writing, or Introduction to College Writing.
