Important Dates and Deadlines for Fall 2008

»	Saturday, August 23, 2008 to Monday, September 01, 2008 No signatures required to add or drop most classes. Add/Drop is through New Titan Online. All permits issued in week one expire at midnight, Monday, September 8. (Campus closed Sept. 1, Labor Day)
»	Tuesday, September 02, 2008 to Monday, September 08, 2008 Department issued registration permit to register and add all classes (except classes offered at the Irvine Campus). Registration is through New Titan Online. All permits issued in week two expire at midnight, Monday, September 8.
»	Monday, September 08, 2008 Last day of registration with $25 late fee. Last day to add most classes with registration permit. Last day to declare audit and grade option changes. Last day to drop classes without a grade of 'W.' Last day for full refund if status is reduced from full-time to part-time (6 or fewer units). All permits issued during the first and second week of classes EXPIRE at midnight.
»	Monday, September 22, 2008 Census date.
»	Wednesday, October 29, 2008 Last day to receive pro-rated refund of mandatory fees for complete withdrawal from classes.
»	Friday, November 14, 2008 Final deadline to withdraw from classes with a grade of 'W' for serious and compelling reasons.
»	Friday, December 12, 2008 Last day to return completed graduation check forms for undergraduate students planning to graduate in May 2009 or August 2009.
»	Friday, December 12, 2008 Last day of class instruction.
»	Saturday, December 13, 2008 to Friday, December 19, 2008 Semester examinations. Final Exam Schedule
»	Friday, January 02, 2009 Semester ends. Grades due in records office by 12 noon. Effective date of graduation for those completing requirements.
»	Monday, January 12, 2009 Fall 2008 grades available, as processed, on New Titan Online via portal account.
