Letter from the President

Welcome to California State University, Fullerton—where we create opportunities in and out of the classroom for students, faculty and staff to work and learn together. Our campus offers a student-centered atmosphere—an atmosphere that is responsive to who our students are, and what they hope to become.

This is possible because our highly qualified and diverse faculty provide undergraduate and graduate programs that help our students reach their personal and professional best. These professors do an exceptional job of providing students with graduate and undergraduate programs that reflect the best of current practice, theory and research. And, they work directly with our students in their studios, laboratories and classrooms.

At Cal State Fullerton, we care about all our students and are proud that our demographics reflect those of Orange County and Southern California. We truly educate our geographic region. We certainly have created a Cal State Fullerton presence!

While we are a comprehensive, regional university, we do present our students with a global outlook, thanks in part to our location. Orange County is a technologically-rich and culturally-diverse area that is adjacent to metropolitan Los Angeles and provides all that a major coastal city offers.
