General Information

Top of page

California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) has developed the Titan Degree Audit (TDA) to enhance student advisement. In 1997, the Office of Admissions and Records began setting up the requirements of the undergraduate degree programs, including major, minor and general education in the TITAN Degree Audit program. This program produces reports that inform CSUF students and advisers of the completion status of degree requirements.

***Beginning with Spring 2009 candidates for graduation, the TDA will become the official grad check document.

Newly Admitted First Time Freshmen

Your TDA will not contain any transfer courses, unless you transfer college-level test credits (i.e. Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate) and/or courses. It is advisable to check the accuracy of your TDA regularly to ensure that any issues will be addressed in a timely manner.

Newly Admitted Transfer Students (Fall 2008 and after)

If you are a newly admitted transfer student, your Titan Degree Audit (TDA) will be a preliminary evaluation of your transfer coursework. Your TDA will remain preliminary until you receive notification from the Office of Admissions and Records that final evaluation of your records has been completed.

Continuing Students

It is advisable to check the accuracy of your TDA regularly to ensure that any issues will be addressed in a timely manner.
Please note that for some students (i.e., those who attended out-of-state schools and/or those who have coursework completed prior to Fall 1989), not all of the transfer coursework may be reflected in the TDA. In these cases, a hand-written final evaluation is used instead. These students should refer to their hand-written final evaluations when seeking advisement.

Candidates for Graduation

  • For Fall 2008 and prior candidates
Your TDA may not reflect modifications that have been approved by your major adviser or the graduation evaluator. Candidates should refer to the Graduation Check for final degree requirements. Questions regarding these requirements should be addressed to your major adviser or the graduation evaluator located in LH-114, Admissions and Records Service Center.

  • For Spring 2009 and later candidates
Please check the Graduation Process in the Graduation link below:
