Transfer Student Waitlist Details

What is the waitlist?

Top of page

CSU Fullerton is an impacted campus at the transfer level. Impaction means that there are more applications for the campus than can be accommodated. Due to the quantity and quality of the applicant pool for the Fall 2014 term and limited space in our most highly impacted majors (Kinesiology, Biology and Biochemistry), we have established a waitlist for the Fall 2014.

Applicants that are denied admission to these highly impacted majors that submit a formal letter of appeal will be considered for the waitlist as long as they also meet all other admission requirements for the term, including meeting the GPA requirement for area impaction.  Appeals must be received within 30 days of the date of the applicant’s deny decision.  To submit a letter of appeal, please visit: http://www.fullerton.edu/admissions/prospectivestudent/appeals.asp

We will determine whether space is available once our admitted students decide to accept their offers of admission. Beginning in late June or early July, if it has been determined we have room in our transfer class we will select students from the waitlist based GPA and lower division coursework completed for the major.

How will I be notified that I have been offered a space on the waitlist?
