Thank you for your interest in Cal State Fullerton advancement. Our focus is to raise funds for diverse initiatives, including scholarships, faculty research, the library, athletics, facilities, and more.

We are a proven investment.

Since 1957, our university has produced educators, scientists, businesspeople, artists, communicators, athletes—people from diverse disciplines and backgrounds who have helped make our state a great place to live and work.

Over the years, our campus has changed: We’ve built new buildings, added programs, and are educating more students than ever before. And speaking of students, we have exceeded all expectations for growth, starting with just 452 students in 1959, growing to become the largest campus in the CSU system with more than 37,000 students.

The most dramatic change we’ve seen is how we are funded. For most of our history, we were fully supported by the state of California. This happy situation ended in the late ’80s to mid-‘90s, when we were required to provide part of our own funding. And we have been rewarded. Over time, several individuals and organizations have given CSUF more than $1 million each. Together, their generous donations add up to more than $22 million. And our many other donors have made a huge impact, too. Over the life of the Foundation—established in 1995—they have given more than $50 million.

To keep our university vibrant and functioning, we also need your support. Our development staff can help you facilitate financial gifts and in-kind gifts. You may also wish to give the gift of time as a volunteer or a participant in university events. It all adds up to a richer, stronger educational experience for the students who will graduate from Cal State Fullerton.
