Event Overview
Cal State Fullerton is proud to host the Going for the Gold 5K Run/1K Walk and Health Expo on Saturday, April 12, 2008. The event is an opportunity for children and families to learn the importance of physical activity and healthy nutrition while having fun!
The event is funded by a Golden Idea grant awarded to the College of Health and Human Development as part of Cal State Fullerton’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
Target Audience
The event is open to people of all ages.
We encourage children and families to attend and learn how to play to stay healthy.
5K Run and 1K Fun Walk for All Ages
7:30 am Registration and T-shirt Pick-up
8:30 am Opening Ceremony
9:00 am 5K Run
9:10 am 1K Fun Walk

Kids 12 and under are free. Sign up as a team! Take the College Challenge!
Health Expo
8:00 am – 12 pm
The Health Expo is free and open to everyone. Participation in the Run/Walk is not required.
Join us for crafts, games, food, health screenings, and get information and resources to stay healthy!
