3 Ways to Save!
In a campus community of more than 41,000 students, faculty and staff, it is likely that we have been personally affected by the need for blood, organ and bone marrow donations. “Celebrating the gift of life and inspiring students, faculty and staff to donate blood and register as organ/tissue and bone marrow donors.”
Donating blood is a simple process that saves more than four million American lives each year. Blood is always needed for treatment of trauma victims, patients being treated for cancer and surgery patients. There is no substitute for blood. Change a life, starting with your own. This April you can help save lives by donating blood at one of the following blood drives:

How can you help today?
On any given day, more than 6,000 individuals are searching the national registry for a life-saving donor. These patients have leukemia, lymphom and other life-threatening diseases that can be treated by a bone marrow or cord blood transplant. For many of these patients, a transplant may be the best and only hope for a cure. Life. It's in you.Join the bone marrow donor registry and give hope to patients everywhere. You could be the one donor a patient needs. Register by visiting a Bone Marrow Registry information booth on the same dates, times and locations as the blood drives taking place on campus throughout April or visit www.marrow.org |
