An Update from the
Executive Director of Alumni Relations

Fellow Alumni,

Mark your calendars! 
I am excited to share the great news about the upcoming Cal State Fullerton 50th Anniversary University Open House and Alumni Homecoming. The fall 2007 academic semester will mark a year of events and programs designed to showcase 50 years of excellence at CSUF.

The festivities will begin on September 14 with our annual Concert Under the Stars outdoor concert event on campus and continue Saturday, September 15 with the University Open House. Alumni and friends from surrounding communities will converge on the campus for a day of fun, celebration and a retrospective look at the university.

To help identify our graduates and bring them together, there will be alumni homecoming booths marking the decades from the 1960s to the 2000s.  When alumni visit the booths, each graduate will receive a special commemorative item in honor of the 50th Anniversary.

I invite you to come back to your alma mater for this historic weekend of events.  Watch your mailbox this summer for more information about the year-long anniversary celebration!

Although we are hard at work planning the 50th Anniversary celebration, the Alumni Relations team is equally busy this spring semester producing 14 events and programs designed to serve and recognize our alumni and student population. These events include regional alumni receptions in Las Vegas, New York, Washington DC, Phoenix and Sacramento, a student career networking event, an L.A. area event showcasing Wicked at the Pantages Theatre and many others.  Please visit www.CSUFalumni.com to find out more about the Alumni Association and our outreach efforts.
