Spring Dessert Reception

MSIDT Chapter On Sunday, June 3 the MSIDT Chapter held a Spring Dessert Reception at the Golleher Alumni House on campus. Alumni, recent graduates and program faculty attended the hosted reception. They also held a canned goods drive for a local charity. The special guest speaker for the event was Bob Nash, director of instructional design and faculty support for Coast Learning Systems, a division of Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley.

Mission

Tuffy at computer The MSIDT Chapter's purpose is to grow as the MSIDT program does, and adapt and change with the ever-expanding field of instructional design and technology in education, government, and the private sector.

Objectives

  • To facilitate social interaction and peer support among the members of the association.
  • To serve as a vehicle of communication between the individual alumnus, the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association and the University.
  • To promote the professional image and awareness of the instructional design field.
  • To offer opportunities for professional networking.
  • To assist with the educational experience for current MSIDT students, including mentoring opportunities between graduates and students.
