Night of the Pachyderm 2007 Brings Alumni Back to Campus

The CSUF Alumni Association held its Annual Meeting and Night of the Pachyderm basketball event on Saturday, January 27th on campus at the Golleher Alumni House.

Over 250 Association members, Titan Athletics Club supporters, friends and family gathered for pizza and refreshments followed by a Titan Men's Basketball game versus the Anteaters of UC Irvine.

During the annual meeting, attendees were given an update on the Association by Kristin Crellin, President of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and Carlos Leija, Executive Director of Alumni Relations. Andy Newman, Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, gave a pre-game "Chalk Talk" to highlight the finer points of this year's team and season.

The CSUF Dance Team, 7-time National Champions and the Titans Cheer Squad performed the Titan fight song and roused the crowd before heading to the Titan Gym to root the Titans on to victory.

Cheered on by the largest audience this season, the Titans were victorious against the Anteaters in a game filled with many thrilling fast-breaks and slam-dunks, with a final score of 75-60.
