Saturday, June 21: Titan graduates in the D.C. area are invited to a special networking reception in our nation’s capital. Meet fellow alumni, current students and hear about the university’s Washington D.C. internship program.
5th Annual Wine Tasting Dinner & Silent Auction
Saturday, October 4: Enjoy gourmet cuisine and an array of fine wines from various wineries under the stars at the Golleher Alumni House. All proceeds from the Silent Auction will benefit student scholarships. This event always sells out, so check back soon to make your reservation! Donation opportunities are also available.

Calling all Titan leaders for the Alumni Association Board of Directors!
The CSUF Alumni Association is seeking applicants for consideration to serve a two-year term on our board of directors beginning July 1, 2008.
Vision & Visionaries
The Vision & Visionaries award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon CSUF alumni and is awarded based on significant contributions to the community, state or nation. Five distinguished alumni and one Corporate Foundation Honoree received the 2008 award during the annual event held at the Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom on Saturday, May 3.
Seniors Celebrate Graduation at Inaugural Alumni Association BBQ
To celebrate the accomplishments of the 2008 senior class at Cal State Fullerton, the Alumni Association held an inaugural Senior BBQ at the Golleher Alumni House on Thursday, April 24.
Alumni Tailgate Celebrates Barbeque, Baseball and Titan Camaraderie
On Saturday, March 29, nearly 100 guests enjoyed a special pre-game tailgate with Big B’s barbeque, music and fun before the big game against the UC Riverside Highlanders.
Titans Compete in the Big Dance for the First Time in 30 Years
The Men's Titan Basketball Team traveled to Omaha to take on the Wisconsin Badgers in NCAA Tournament play on Thursday, March 20. Of the numerous Titan alumni, fans and friends who traveled to Omaha to support the team, over 80 attendees gathered for a pre-game reception at inPlay restaurant.

Accounting Chapter
Saturday, May 17: Join Accounting alumni, family and friends for a day of baseball as they cheer on the Titans.
Counseling Chapter
Friday, May 9: The Counseling Chapter is holding a panel on public and private practice as an MFT. The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Titan Student Union.
VAMBA Chapter
VAMBA Chapter members and friends enjoyed a scenic bike ride in Huntington Beach on Sunday, April 27.
Tam Nguyen represented VAMBA on a community panel discussion titled API's Unite: An Asian and Pacific Islander Community Panel on April 17 at the Titan Student Union. This event was organized by the Multicultural Leadership Center, Asian American Studies Program and Asian American and Pacific Islander Leadership Institute. New chapter president Neil Tran was in the audience and was able to network with API leaders as well.

Mihaylo Hall Dedication
Friday, October 17: Students, Faculty, Alumni and the Community are all invited to the dedication of the new College of Business and Economics building, Steven G. Mihaylo Hall.
Join us from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Mihaylo Hall Courtyard. The celebration will include speeches, building tours, student club booths, a reception and other fun activities.

Alumnus Joe Moderow is a Horatio Alger Award Recipient
Alumnus Joe Moderow is among the recipients of the 2008 Horatio Alger Award. The honor is bestowed upon those individuals who have overcome adversity to achieve great success through the American free enterprise system.
CSUF D.C. Internship Program Welcoming Reception
Saturday, June 21: The College of Humanities and Social Sciences will hold the CSUF D.C. Internship Program welcoming reception in Washington, D.C. Guests will include this year's D.C. interns, CSUF alumni in the D.C. area, internship hosts and CSUF administrators. If you are interested in learning more about the CSUF D.C. Lecture Series
Saturday, June 7: The College of Humanities and Social Sciences will host the Rastegar Family’s Iraj Afshar Iranica Lecture Series featuring Dr. Carlo Cereti, President of the Society of Iranian Studies in Europe and Chair of Iranian Studies at the University of Rome. Dr. Cereti will offer three talks:
- The Achaemenian Dream: Campaigns and Conquests of the Late Sasanian Empire
- Primary Sources for the History of the Late Sasanian Empire: Glyptics and Numismatics
- The Blossoming of Sasanian Literature: Pahlavi Texts and the Xwaday Namag

50th Anniversary Celebration
In August of this year, the 50th Anniversary committee looks forward to the publication of The Fullerton Way: California State University Fullerton at Fifty. Author Dr. Lawrence de Graaf, History, Emeritus and a team of professional staff and history students have produced a comprehensive account of the first half-century of CSUF. Read more (PDF).
