“It feels really good to attend an event where you’re surrounded by good people and to hear our student athlete and coach talk about their experiences with such passion. Events like these make me proud to be a CSUF alumni." Gio Carranza ’05
The Business Finance Alumni Chapter leadership team partnered with CalCPA to help end hunger in Orange County by volunteering at the Second Harvest Food Bank. We rolled up our sleeves to do some good for the community and had a great time doing it. Proud to call ourselves Titans!

Students Win against Undefeated Alumni in Softball 2013
How were we so blind not to see all the signs? As the Alumni approached the softball field to defend their 4 time championship against the students, signs laid across the canvas. This year’s crop of students arrived early for a change and had chiseled bodies unlike Titans past. Conversations of possible loss rolled off the tongues of Alumni for once. Unlike past seasons the Alumni huddled with drawn out plans and strategies knowing full well what hill lay before them. The first of seven innings started and the students took a commanding 5-4 lead. As the students started to pull away the Alumni turned on their engines to full throttle and managed to trail by only 1 during the half. With the score 12-13 in favor of the students, they decided warm up was over and rocked the Alumni with their first loss in 5 seasons! Congratulations to the students on their first victory! Just don’t spend too much time celebrating because after a nice long Epson salt bath these Alumni WILL BE BACK!
