A Celebration of Accomplishments for the MSIDT Chapter
The MSIDT (Masters Degree in Instructional Design & Technology) Chapter social & annual meeting was held at the Alumni House on June 22. Alumni and friends gathered to celebrate the graduating class, reconnected and shared the positive progress of the chapter. The coordinator of the MSIDT Program and Faculty Technology, Dr. JoAnn Carter-Wells, was also in attendance to provide an update on the MSIDT program. The guest speaker, Jim Schools MS ’04 presented the evaluation of authoring software as a tool for the MSIDT Program. Finally, an exciting slate of new Chapter Officers were also introduced at the meeting.

Alumni Enjoy Bus Trip to the Cabazon Outlets
Members of the MSIDT Chapter participated in a bus trip to the Cabazon outlets as part of the chapter fundraiser. Vice President for Records & Finance, Tai James MS’10 commented “We raised more than $600 and attendees were already asking when the next bus trip is as they exited the bus!”
MSIDT Alumni Experience “Second Life” Demonstration
The MSIDT Chapter hosted their annual meeting at the Golleher Alumni House on June 9. At the meeting, new officers were elected:

Vice President for Membership – Donna Cruz ’10
Vice President for Records & Finance – Tai James ’10
Highlighting the event was a “Second Life” demonstration by Web/Multimedia Developer at Coastline Community College, Mark Worden MS’09. “Second Life” is a three–dimensional virtual community created entirely by its membership. Worden took users on a virtual tour of some “Second Life” educational sites including the MSIDT offices.
MSIDT Alumni and Faculty Participate in Evening Social
The MSIDT Chapter social was held at the Golleher Alumni House on May 21. Alumni and friends gathered to celebrate the graduating class of cohort 7 and to welcome students of cohort 8. The social allowed attendees to reconnect and share the positive progress of the chapter including recent survey results. The coordinator of the MSIDT Program and Faculty Technology, Dr. JoAnn Carter-Wells, was also in attendance to provide an update on the evolution of the MSIDT program. Attendees from almost all the cohorts (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8!) showed their support and participation.

Spring Dessert Reception 2007
On Sunday, June 3, 2007 the MSIDT Chapter held a Spring Dessert Reception at the Golleher Alumni House on campus. Alumni, recent graduates and program faculty attended the hosted reception. They also held a canned goods drive for a local charity. The special guest speaker for the event was Bob Nash, director of instructional design and faculty support for Coast Learning Systems, a division of Coastline Community College in Fountain Valley.
Annual Mixer 2006
MSIDT alumni gathered for a chapter mixer on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Golleher Alumni House. Alumni, faculty and graduate students mingled and networked, sharing their Titan connection.
