White Tuffy Dinner Social

White Tuffy Dinner SocialThe College of Education Alumni Chapter hosted a “White Tuffy” dinner social on Saturday, January 28 where students and alumni enjoyed Blake’s Barbeque comfort food, a white elephant gift exchange and opportunity drawings. Alumni shared with students the paths that took them to their current positions, the jobs available now, and continuing education ideas. Students shared with alumni how education requirements have changed, their concerns with the economy and heard ideas about job market positioning for success. Attendees left the event with job ideas, new found treasures and new friends. View photos.

The Schools First Federal Credit Union and the College of Education Alumni Chapter in collaboration with the Business Finance Alumni Chapter jointly presented Dr. Carl Cohn , Co-Director and Professor of the Urban Leadership Program & Member of the State School Board, who enlightened the attendees on being change agents as educators. At the event, Kristy Mar was the proud winner of the Amazon Kindle.

Established in September 2008, the Mission of the College of Education Alumni Association is to connect CSUF alumni, educators and the community at large to promote the advancement of the educational community.

Objectives

  • To provide information on professional growth opportunities
