Community, Alumni and Students Honor Favorite Educators and Raise Funds at the Chalk Walk
The 1st Annual Chalk Walk was a fun and active event to raise funds to honor and in support of great teachers. This year, the Cal State Fullerton’s College of Education Chapter and Phi Delta Kappa Chapter 1376 collaborated to organize the Chalk Walk on March 26 at the CSUF campus. The event featured a fun 1K and 3K walk along with music, food, vendors and amazing opportunity drawings for some great prizes for the participants. The goal of the Chalk Walk was to bring our local communities together to provide support to future great teachers while honoring the outstanding educators of the past and present. The Chalk Walk raised more than $1,900 for scholarships and grants which will be offered by College of Education Chapter and PDK Chapter 1376 to current and future educators. View photos
