It was a beautiful night for a ball game! On Friday April 20, Titan Parents, students, alumni and friends gathered for a tailgate at the Alumni House. More than 275 attendees enjoyed Philly cheesesteaks, Polish dogs and veggie burgers with family and friends. The event’s atmosphere was fun and festive with great music and opportunity drawings. Thanks in part to the generous sponsorship of Liberty Mutual Insurance, each attendee received their own stadium seat cushion. 
Titan parent Sharon Vaughan, expressed her delight that evening saying, “We came all the way from Northern California, so this event is a very big night for us!” The event allowed students, parents and alumni to mingle and enjoy a perfect spring evening. When asked the best thing about being a Titan parent, Sherri Campbell said, “It’s the newsletters and events like these, they keep us in touch with our students.”
Many raved about the food including alumnus Kent Harper, “As a kid from Philly, the Philly cheesesteak was amazing!” Special thanks goes out to event sponsors the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association, Titan Parents Association and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
After a successful tailgate, attendees watched the Titan’s hit it out of the park with a 6-1 win over the Cal Poly SLO Mustangs. Overall, it was a great night to be a Titan! View Photos.
