Rock-n-roll legends Chicago entertained a crowd of more than 8,000 on February 3 at the Honda Center (formerly Arrowhead Pond) in Anaheim, during Cal State Fullerton’s 12th Annual Front & Center gala.
The CSUF Alumni Association held a pre-concert dessert reception with over 90 attendees, the best attendance to date for this event. Emcee Jack O’Connell, State Superintendent of Public Instruction and Cal State Fullerton graduate, charmed the audience by sharing his lessons learned from CSUF and his unending devotion for the group Chicago.
Students from the award-winning Department of Theatre & Dance showcased their talents through personalized performances throughout the evening. Rick Muth, President of ORCO Block Company was presented the Orange County Titan Award for his financial and service contributions to CSUF and the community. Proceeds of more than $120,000 were earmarked for student scholarships.
