George G. Golleher Alumni House
Built in 1931 and restored in 1995, the George G. Golleher Alumni House was named after a generous key gift from George G. Golleher (BA Sociology ' 71) for complete internal and external renovation of the house.
In addition to serving as a center for alumni activities, this Spanish Colonial Revival-style home is host to University-sponsored events . The Golleher Alumni House is the perfect setting for intimate meetings for a few people or a classic setting for a reception for 250. Guests will journey through the garden courtyard and continue past the Fiesta Room to the terra cotta patio during special engagements.
Serenity
Beyond the arched entrance, the Courtyard displays a beautiful array of native California flora and an exquisite fountain. This is a refreshing site for simple cocktail receptions and informal gatherings.
Artistry
A great open - beamed ceiling and four double glass doors make the spacious Fiesta room an exceptional choice for meetings, banquets or ceremonies. This simple gallery is trimmed with hand-painted tile and includes a custom fireplace.
Vitality
Breeze through the terra cotta terrace to the sun-drenched Patio. Wander from the trickling fountain past the raised stage to the built in barbecue and framed service area. Lighting and Electrical amenities provide endless day or night possibilities.
In addition to serving as a center for alumni activities, this Spanish Colonial Revival-style home is host to private party rentals and University-sponsored events.
