LA Alumni Bring Chambers Broadcast Legacy to Historic Jonathan Club

Photo: Group picture of attendeesIn an industry where the reporters change with the weather, it is good to see a recognizable face on the screen when you tune to the Channel 5 evening news reports. With 59 years of Los Angeles-area news reporting for KTLAnews, Stan Chambers is a legend in broadcasting and a Southern California icon. Continuing the family legacy in television news, Stan’s grandson, Jaime Chambers, began at KTLA in 2003 as a reporter and has provided reliable newscoverage throughout the southland ever since.

The Chambers shared their experiences in broadcasting including how they both got their start and the moments in history that they shared with viewers over the small screen.
