A Celebration of Accomplishments for the MSIDT Chapter
The MSIDT (Masters Degree in Instructional Design & Technology) Chapter social & annual meeting was held at the Alumni House on June 22. Alumni and friends gathered to celebrate the graduating class, reconnected and shared the positive progress of the chapter. The coordinator of the MSIDT Program and Faculty Technology, Dr. JoAnn Carter-Wells, was also in attendance to provide an update on the MSIDT program. The guest speaker, Jim Schools MS ’04 presented the evaluation of authoring software as a tool for the MSIDT Program. Finally, an exciting slate of new Chapter Officers were also introduced at the meeting.

Alumni Star of "Criminal Minds" in Area
"Criminal Minds" star and CSUF graduate Kirsten Vangsness (B.A. theatre arts '96) is scheduled to join fellow cast members of the CBS drama on Sunday, Aug. 19, at the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts.
Earning Tuffy Bucks
Cal State Fullerton's Office of Environmental Health and Safety have instituted "Tuffy Bucks," a new incentive program to encourage students, staff and faculty members to learn and use safe work habits to stay safe and healthy on campus

Mission
The MSIDT Chapter’s purpose is to grow as the MSIDT program does, and adapt and change with the ever-expanding field of instructional design and technology in education, government, and the private sector.
Objectives
- To facilitate social interaction and peer support among the members of the association.
- To serve as a vehicle of communication between the individual alumni, the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association, the University and the MSIDT program.
- To promote the professional image and awareness of the instructional design field.
- To offer opportunities for professional networking.
- To assist with the educational experience for current MSIDT students, including mentoring opportunities between graduates and students.
