Letter From the Executive Director of Alumni Relations
Dear Fellow Titans,
We are pleased to share with you information about the Cal State Fullerton Alumni Association and the recent passing of affinity program legislation, Senate Bill 569.
An affinity program is an agreement between the University and a business partner to offer discounted services to our alumni in areas such as travel, investment, insurance or credit cards. In addition to discounts for alumni, these affinity partners give a portion of their business back to Cal State Fullerton. This in turn supports numerous areas of the university such as student scholarships, academic programs, facilities, athletics and alumni programs. These types of partnerships also provide sponsorship opportunities for other university events and programs.
In order to provide you with access to and information about the benefits and discounts of the various affinity opportunities, your information is shared with only the selected partners of the utmost quality and integrity. A privacy contract is signed and they are not allowed to share your data with any other entity.
SB 569 was passed to allow the continuation of such beneficial programs for our alumni and friends of the Association. Not only will affinity programs benefit you as a graduate, but will also greatly support your alma mater, the Association and our current students.
Per the SB 569 legislation, we are required to inform you of important privacy information. I encourage you to take a moment to read the adjoining information.

You have the right to restrict the sharing of your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners.
Exercising this right does not prohibit the university from sending you information about the Alumni Association, the university, or other products or services, nor from sharing your information when we are required to do so by law.

Unless you say "NO," we may share your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners. Our affinity partners may send you offers to purchase various products or services that we have agreed that they can offer in partnership with us.
Time Sensitive Reply
You may decide at any time that you do not want us to share your information with our affinity partners. Your choice marked below will remain in effect until you state otherwise. If we do not hear from you, we may share your name, address, and electronic mail address with our affinity partners.
