Lindsay Kwek
Originally from Bakersfield, Ca, Lindsay Kwek, a Communications major, came to Cal State Fullerton not knowing anyone or even that Fullerton was in Orange County, but after her two years enrolled, she has made the university her home. Living in the dorms, she joined the Resident Student Association after her Resident Advisor encouraged her to join. From there, she was hired as New Student Orientation Leader and a Titan Ambassador, where she developed herself as a leader, earning such honors as the Excellence in Student Leadership Award and Alumni Association Scholarship for Communications Majors.
In her second year, she got involved with her college sitting on the Communications Inter-Club Council, writing for The Daily Titan, and working with TUSK magazine. Also, she worked with CSUF’s student government, ASI, as Union and Special Programming Coordinator for ASI Productions and Executive Vice President Candidate in ASI elections. For the future, Lindsay hopes to continue to being involved in Cal State Fullerton, making the most of her last two years. She hopes to pursue a career working for a teen magazine or doing big-budget event planning while being an active alumna for students at Cal State Fullerton.
