Vision & Visionaries 2007

Cal State Fullerton alumni, honorary guests, students and supporters gathered at the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort on Saturday, April 28, 2007 to celebrate six outstanding Vision & Visionaries Award recipients. This year's event honored four distinguished alumni who have been recognized for outstanding work in their profession or for significant contributions benefiting their community, state or nation. The Distinguished Alumni honorees included Lucetta 'Lucy' Dunn, Roger L. Kotch, Steven G. Mihaylo and Albert C. Wong. Above all other university accolades, the Vision & Visionaries award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon alumni of the university.

Special recognition was also given to an outstanding volunteer and a corporate/foundation partner. The Vision & Visionaries Honorary Alumnus Award was presented to Allen L. Boerner for his support and dedication to the Guardian Scholars Program at Cal State Fullerton. The Archstone Foundation was awarded the Corporate/Foundation Partner of the Year Award for appreciation of their partnership and support of the Center for Successful Aging at Cal State Fullerton,

To add to the excitement of the evening, students from the award-winning Department of Theater & Dance entertained the audience with personalized song-and-dance introductions for each recipient. With a record number of table sales, the event boasted more than 440 guests in attendance.
