Todd Miller has been teaching horn and percussion at Cal State Fullerton since 1971. In addition, he directs wind and percussion chamber music. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music degrees from the University of Southern California. Miller is principal timpanist with the Pacific Symphony and regularly performs both percussion and French horn with numerous Southern California orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic where he typically plays horn. He is an active studio musician and can be heard on multitudes of soundtracks including several Academy Award-winning movies scores including Out of Africa, Dances With Wolves and Titanic. In TV, he has worked on Columbo, A Team, Rockford Files, Greatest American Hero and JAG, under the baton of great conductors and composers from John Williams to Jerry Goldsmith. Mr. Miller was awarded the outstanding artist award at the 11th annual Orange County Arts Awards in 2010.
