RICHARD TURNER, Instructor in Music

Guitarist Richard Turner received his B.A. and M.A. degrees at San Jose State University, where harpsichordist Fernando Valenti coached him in the performance and interpretation of Renaissance and Baroque music. He has been an active performer and recording artist. Several of his books and recordings are issued by Mel Bay Publications. He studied guitar with George Sakellariou and José Rey de la Torre. Turner teaches classical guitar and Intro to American Folk Music at Cal State Fullerton.
