Elizabeth Lorenzo |

Elizabeth Lorenzo graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in music. She earned her M.A. at the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Ph.D. in historical musicology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her areas of study include gender in music. As a musicologist and singer, Lorenzo is a specialist in 19th-century music, and takes a highly interdisciplinary approach to her work. At UCLA she participated in the highly selective Collegium of University Teaching Fellows program where she designed and taught a successful, undergraduate seminar on women in opera. Lorenzo teaches music history at CSU Fullerton.
