Professor James R. Taulli specializes in the areas of Directing, Musical Theatre and Acting. He has directed over 50 productions and events for various University Theatres across the country. His professional directorial credits include South Pacific for Saddleback CLO, City of Angels, Red Hot and Cole, Guys and Dolls, and Pump Boys and Dinettes for Utah Musical Theatre and Meet Me in St. Louis for Capital Playhouse. Other projects include: Voices of Hope for the Crystal Cathedral, Capistrano for the Mission Pageant Foundation, Three Days of Rain for Bridge Theatre Company, and God’s Favorite for the Neil Simon Festival. Mr. Taulli directed the premiere productions of Wigged Out! for Stray Productions, the WWII drama, Maiden Voyages for Asian American Repertory Theatre, and 24 Hours, a new musical that was produced at the Stella Adler Theatre and for which Mr. Taulli was nominated for an NAACP award for best direction of a musical.
