Academic Technology

Welcome to the Academic Technology website.

Here you will soon find information pertaining to contracts for faculty-use software, upcoming Academic Technology projects, and roadmaps for services deployment to the campus.

The campus Learning Management System (LMS) transition from Blackboard to Moodle is the first of many Academic Technology projects. You'll find more information on Moodle, the new LMS platform, on this site.

After a campus wide contest, the new CSUF LMS name has been determined. Our new CSUF Learning Management System will be called "TITANium." After presenting the campus with 3 finalists, the final results of the Moodle naming contest were tallied this past Friday. Currently, the logo is being adapted to ensure compliance with university guidelines.

On this site you will also find references to all Academic Technology information, including direct links to department and/or center websites such as the Faculty Development Center (FDC), OASIS, and the Academic Technology Center (ATC) for faculty. As many of the academic technology projects involve many groups you will also find the information contained on the site linked across multiple centers and areas.
