Eugenia had one of the most outstanding careers in Cal State Fullerton basketball history capped by her incluson in the 10-member Kodak All-American team of 1991. She played for the Titans in the 1987-88 through 1990-91 seasons, starting 104 games during that period. She averaged 20.5 points and 9.8 rebounds per game for her career. She was named to the All Big-West Conference first team in 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1990-91. She was Big West Player of the Year in 1990-91, the only player ever to achieve that honor for Cal State Fullerton. She was named to the conference all-tournament team twice and was the MVP in the Big West Tournament in 1991. She also set a conference record by being named player of the week six times in one season.

Eugenia's teams were the only Titan women's basketball teams to earn NCAA berths, doing so in both 1989 and 1991. The team lost in the opening round at Montana in 1989 but defeated Louisiana Tech in 1991 before losing to Stanford in the second round.

In her tenure the Titans won 78 games while losing 42. Eugenia's No. 40 jersey was officially retired by the University . Genia studied psychology and earned her degree in 1994 from the College of Humanities and Social Science.

She played two seasons professionally in Japan before returning to the United States to raise a family. As a mother of three she played for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA in 1998-99 and remained with the club to help develop a community outreach program targeting at-risk youths in Los Angeles.

She currently is in her third season as an assistant women's basketball coach for the Titans, a post she also held for one season (1993-94) while completing her degree.  She and her husband Richard Rycraw live in Chino Hills with their four children – Robert, Mia, Richard and Janelle.
