Program
There are two types of Multiple Subject Credential Programs:

- Some students can enter the credential program in their senior
year, using credential program classes to reach the minimum 120
units required for the bachelor's degree. To be eligible, students
must have completed all General Education requirements, credential
prerequisites, and have no more than 6 units to complete in the
major.
Streamlined Teacher Education Program (STEP):
- Specifically designed for freshman students who are planning
to be elementary teachers.
- Allows students to combine the bachelor's degree studies with
the multiple subject credential program.
- Major options available for STEP: Child and Adolescent Studies
(CHAD), Liberal Studies (LBST) and Religious Studies.
The CSU system offers an online multiple subject credential program
