Seminar
Schedules
The Center for Careers in Teaching offers several general information
sessions each month that help the student understand what it takes
to prepare for the teaching profession. These seminars are highly
recommended as a starting point for the student who needs information
about credential requirements, majors, general education and how
to blend these requirements in the most efficient way.
- These informative seminars are designed for the undergraduate
student who has time to plan the integration of general education,
major, and credential program requirements prior to graduation.
- Community college students are welcome to attend.
- The student who is within a semester of graduation, or who already
has a baccalaureate degree needs to watch the Credential Program
Overview Podcast offered by the Elementary,
Secondary, and Special Education programs. Call (657) 278-3412 or visit the website at http://ed.fullerton.edu/adtep/Overviews.htm for additional information.
- CalStateTEACH is a California State University teacher preparation program. To learn on how to earn a Multiple Subject teaching credential in an online and internet supported California State University program, please attend one of the information sessions. Click here for dates/times/locations. CalStateTEACH credential candidates are eligible to teach multiple subjects in a general education self-contained K-12 classroom.
CalStateTEACH serves prospective multiple subject teachers in all counties in California. If you do not see an information meeting in your area, please go to http://www.calstateteach.net or visit Ed Join at edjoin.org.
Note: There will be no seminars held in June, July, and August. If you are an incoming student, please attend New/Transfer Student Orientation. For additional questions regarding Orientation, click here.
