College Courses Applicable to Subject Matter Preparation Programs
Some of the subject matter preparation programs have several requirements
that can be filled with lower division community college courses
while other subject matter preparation programs have only a minimal
number of lower division requirements. Students should be aware
of the SMPP lower division requirements as well as the lower division
requirements for the major to select classes at the community college
most efficiently. In many cases, the lower division requirements
can be fulfilled with classes that double count with GE.
